Kendal-Crosslands Communities offers a wide spectrum of retirement choices in a beautiful and conveniently situated country setting. Kendal at Longwood and Crosslands are full service continuing care retirement communities (CCRC's) providing a complete range of residential amenities and lifetime health care, under a contract, with an entrance fee and ongoing monthly fees. Coniston and Cartmel, two residential retirement communities, offer maintenance and housekeeping services. Residents pay a one-time occupancy rights fee and ongoing monthly fees.

A common spirit of vitality unites the four related communities, which are affiliated with the highly respected Kendal Corporation. This unique spirit is the legacy of a group of Friends who, more than 30 years ago, founded an organization dedicated to a better way of life for older people.

Kendal-Crosslands Communities, a not-for-profit corporation, is governed in accordance with principles of the Religious Society of Friends (Quakers). This heritage embraces standards and practices emphasizing respect for the individual, excellence in service, social responsibility, and fiscal integrity.
