Nursing Aide Training Program

The NATP is held throughout the year. Kendal~Crosslands Communities (KCC) contracts with Training for Long Term Care (TLC) to teach the program. The program is approximately 100 hours which includes clinical and classroom hours. KCC accepts students into the program who want to be employed by KCC and according to available positions. Upon successful completion of the program a test is scheduled with the American Red Cross. Students must pass the test to become Certified Nursing Assistants.

Anne Perry Scholarship

Resident Eugene Perry established the Anne Perry Fund in memory of his wife, Anne.  The fund cultivates education and development for young people by providing an opportunity to earn needed money for education through meaningful work experiences.  One of this year’s recipients Charles Magness commented “The Anne Perry was a wonderful program to be able to partake in. It gave me real life experience that will carry over in future careers and endeavors. My mentor was kind, understanding and enjoyed being able to teach me what he knew so I would be able to succeed while I was in the program. I am so thankful that I was able to take part in this program and the experience it gave me will follow me for the rest of my life.”
Applications are accepted from January 1st through March 15th every year.
