Moving Expo - Thursday, March 11, 2010 - 1:30-4:00 p.m. - Crosslands

• Our second annual Moving Expo will feature John Turner of Briggs Auction, Inc.  Following his presentation, attendees will have a chance to meet with representatives from moving and packing companies, interior designers, auctioneers, book buyers and others who can help you with your move.
  
  

Successful Aging Series I - Tuesday, April 6, 2010 - 10:30-11:30 a.m. - Kendal at Longwood

• Topic:  "The Kennett Underground Railroad"
  Kendal-Crosslands Communities and the Kennett Area Senior Center will host this event.

Spring Gathering - Thursday, May 13, 2010 - 1:30-4:00 p.m. - Kendal at Longwood

• Gathering events are held twice per year and are open houses at either Kendal or Crosslands.  They provide an opportunity to see several different cottages and apartments, tour the community center and meet the residents.

Coniston/Cartmel Lawn Party - Thursday, June 10, 2010 - 2:00-5:00 p.m. - Cartmel

• The Coniston/Cartmel Lawn Party is an open house at Coniston and Cartmel.  It is an opportunity to learn more about each community, look at various homes and meet many of the residents.

Successful Aging Series II - Date to be determined - 10:30 am - Kennett Area Senior Center in Kennett Square, Pennsylvania

• Kendal-Crosslands Communities and the Kennett Area Senior Center host Successful Aging Series Events.  Various topics are presented and the events are usually held in early spring and fall.

Moving Seminar - Thursday, November 4, 2010 - 1:30-4:00 p.m. - Kendal at Longwood

• The Moving Seminar is an educational session presented by local moving companies, interior designers and Realtors.  Topics to help plan the move to Kendal-Crosslands Communities include: preparing and selling your home; downsizing techniques; tips for a low-stress move.
