Crosslands New Resident Reception

Crosslands residents and staff had an opportunity to meet and learn more about newest residents at a welcome reception. The event was held in the William Penn Room. New residents were presented with a corsage and relaxed at individual tables as seasoned residents took turns visiting them.
Crosslands Fall Gathering

More than 150 people enjoyed the autumn Fall Gathering event at Crosslands. Many of them came early for an elegant buffet lunch in the formal main dining room overlooking the pond and woodlands. During a brief presentation in the auditorium, Executive Director Phil DeBaun spoke about the upcoming availability of modified contracts for those with long-term care insurance and for those preferring a refundable entry fee; both should be available by the end of the year. Nancy Regenye, Director of Marketing/Admissions, explained the open house options for the afternoon: tours of the health center; visits to 31 cottages and apartments, opened for the day by gracious residents; a chance to meet individually with an Admissions staff person; and an informal time in the lounge for refreshments and conversation with residents. As always, we received many glowing comments about how informative the event was and how happy, firendly and proud of their home the Crosslands residents are.
