Our fitness and aquatic areas located in our wellness centers at Kendal~Crosslands Communities are designed to help you stay well and fit and to maintain your highest level of self-care and independence. Maintaining a healthy, active lifestyle is easy to do in our Wellness Centers and in the wide open outdoors with:

  • Two Aquatic Centers with large therapy pool, lap pool, and Jacuzzi – the Crosslands pool is now a salt water pool
  • Several All-Purpose Rooms for exercise classes and dance, as well as space for meetings, educational activities, and massage therapy
  • Therapy and Fitness Rooms with a variety of cardiovascular machines, strength training equipment, free weights and a physical and occupational therapy suite
  • Regularly scheduled classes including Tai Chi, strength training, balance classes, and water aerobics
  • Competitive Water Volleyball twice a week
  • Outdoor swimming pool for recreational use
  • Walking and hiking paths, tennis courts, garden spaces, bike riding, putting green
  • Wellness Director and Nutrition Experts to guide your optimum health needs and help you meet your fitness goals
  • New, innovative walking techniques, such as the use of ‘walking poles’ similar to cross country ski poles – – helps you walk faster and stand up straighter.
