Admissions to Kendal-Crosslands Communities

Kendal at Longwood and Crosslands are open to persons age 65 and over who are able to live safely and attend to all personal needs for several years after entry. 

Prospective residents are encouraged to arrange to come for a tour of the communities with a member of the Admissions and Marketing staff.  During the tour, you will learn more about the communities and how they operate.  You will also have the opportunity to visit homes in both Kendal at Longwood and Crosslands, which will give you a chance to meet current residents, as well as see the actual homes.  We encourage you to visit the communities more than once, to get a good sense of the communities and to see whether they would be a "good fit" for you, your needs, and your interests.

After a tour, if you decide that you would like to join either community, you will need to submit an application for admission and pay a refundable $1,000 deposit.   Both Kendal at Longwood and Crosslands are fully occupied communities with waiting times, so it is wise to plan ahead.
