Admissions to Coniston and Cartmel

The process of moving to Coniston or Cartmel is different from buying a home.  Prospective residents are encouraged to arrange to come for a tour of the communities with a member of the Admissions and Marketing staff.  During the tour, you will learn more about the communities and how they operate.  You will also have the opportunity to visit homes in both Coniston and Cartmel, which will give you a chance to meet current residents, as well as see the actual homes.  We encourage you to visit the communities more than once, to get a good sense of the communities and to see whether they would be a "good fit" for you, your needs, and your interests.

If you decide that you would like to join either community, you will need to submit an application for admission and pay a refundable $1,500 deposit.   Both Coniston and Cartmel are fully occupied communities. Currently, the waiting time for a home in either community is approximately three years, so it is wise to plan ahead.
