Become a Certified Nurse Assistant!

A certified nursing assistant, or CNA, at Kendal~Crosslands Communities (KCC) helps our residents with activities of daily living and other healthcare needs under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). It is a perfect career path for persons to determine if they want to continue to the next step in their healthcare career journey.
At KCC, we provide a free and paid 3-week Department of Education approved curriculum class that provides a Red Cross certification as a CNA when completed. “Our classes are small, which provides personal attention by certified instructors,” says Diane Loughery, Director of Nursing at Crosslands. We accept job applicants as new staff members to enroll in a class and become CNAs. See below to apply.
Current staff members who wish to advance their career in the healthcare field find out about upcoming CNA classes through internal postings. And, any health services staff member can enroll in the CNA program and acquire job enrichment skills, possibly leading to higher job pay.
