Who are We?

Kendal-Crosslands Communities is a not-for-profit organization that strives to provide services and communities for older people in accordance with our Quaker-based values.

What does that mean?

It’s central to our mission to provide a high-quality work experience for staff, recognizing that our communities must be good places to work if they are to be good places to live.  We actively encourage staff to engage in continuing education and evaluation to develop the staff, improve services and live up to our mission.

Our Staff Even Retires Here!

We know we’re doing our job well because you’ll find current residents who were part of the health care or administrative staff choosing our community for their own personal retirement.  Likewise, you’ll meet residents who moved here because their parents retired here. That’s something you won’t find often with other continuing care retirement communities.

Thinking of a Career at Kendal-Crosslands Communities?

Some people work at Kendal-Crosslands Communities for short periods, and others have been here for 20 years or more. Coming from a wide variety of backgrounds and experiences, they each bring their own unique talents to the community. You’ll find residents volunteering with the local library, traveling all over the world, and exploring artistic talents and interests as well. Whether they are living independently or receive care in our personal care or skilled nursing facilities, each resident is respected and treated as an individual.
