Lifelong Learning

Lifelong learning is an important part of Kendal-Crosslands Communities, because it’s part of keeping healthy as we age.

Benefits of Lifelong Learning

Studies about lifelong learning have shown it can help delay symptoms of Alzheimer’s and related cognitive decline, help improve memory and promotes brain health. The science behind lifelong learning confirms what we’ve known at Kendal-Crosslands Communities from our inception. Lifelong learning and engagement in community helps transform the experience of aging for every resident in our independent living retirement communities and 50+ neighborhoods. .

We sometimes hear people describe Kendal-Crosslands Communities as being like college, just without the grades. The opportunity to explore new interests and ideas in a community of other intellectually engaged and vibrant people opens up a new world of possibilities for every resident. At each independent living retirement community and 50+ neighborhood, our residents are always learning new skills and discovering talents they didn’t know they had.
