When you are considering retirement communities in PA or even comparing them to living at home, one of the first questions everyone asks is what does it cost? No matter where you live, there are costs involved, from rent or a mortgage to utilities and taxes. Kendal at Longwood and Crosslands are Life Plan communities, where providing for your long-term health care is part of the contract. Part of your entry fee and monthly fee covers the cost of this care, which also makes a portion of these fees tax-deductible for many residents.
Many Living Options at Different Price Points
Kendal~Crosslands Communities has a wide range of cottages and apartments, from studios to two-bedroom floor plans, including patios and three-season rooms to enhance the enjoyment of our spectacular 500 acre campus. Our cottages and apartments are designed to meet the needs of persons age 65+ and provide services tailored for their needs. Costs are met by a one-time entry fee and ongoing monthly fees in the samples set forth below. Entry fees and monthly fees vary based on single or double occupancy. Additional options including extended meal plans, refundable entry fee options, and credits for long-term care insurance plans will impact your entry fee and/or monthly fee, so be sure to call our Sales Office at (844) 907-1800 to discuss your individual choices.

Refundable Entrance Fee Agreement
Residents at Kendal~Crosslands retirement communities may select from a choice of agreements which include a 90%, 50%, and 0% refundable entrance fee plan. This means that when a resident leaves, the refund is paid to them or their estate. The 90% and 50% refund provides asset protection while the 0% refund provides peace of mind for lower, personal care or skilled nursing costs.
