Representative Chrissy thanked our residents for crocheting and knitting scarves and sweaters for the children at Tick Tock Early Learning Center. Many of the children who attend the center come from families living well below the poverty level. “It is people like you who help our community. You are an inspiration to everyone, to help others in this world. I am happy to visit with you and present you with this certificate”, said Houlahan.

Anne delivered the sweaters and scarves in December, just in time for the holiday season. “The children got to choose their sweater and Irene knitted scarves that the children could gift to their parents at Christmas, it’s so special,” said Czrewin.

Congratulations Irene and Anne!

The ladies say they expect to continue knitting sweaters and scarves for many more years and will continue to make an impact in our local community.
