Kendal~Crosslands Communities will host a job fair on Thursday, September 29, from 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm at The Creamery of Kennett Square. “We are thrilled to provide a job fair for the community, especially one that is social, fun, and accessible to our neighbors,” said Lisa Marsilio, Chief Executive Officer.

Best Place To Work

Kendal-Crosslands Communities employs over 500 staff members in various jobs, including nurses, cooks, servers, dishwashers, administrative support, grounds and maintenance staff, and housekeepers. With an over 500-acre campus, almost 900 residents, and 4 campuses, it is no wonder Kendal~Crosslands Communities is one of the largest employers in Southern Chester County and voted one of the best places to work. “Our 500-acre campus is beautiful, and once you drive onto our campus and see the beautiful grounds, you are amazed. It makes a great working environment.”, says Marsilio.

Dining Staff

Job opportunities for culinary staff are available. Job interviews and offers on the spot.

For nearly 50 years, the non-profit retirement community has provided services for older adults. “The staff members are like family to us,” said Ruth Greenberger, Kendal at Longwood Resident President. “We engage with staff members daily, and the fellowship enhances our lives,” says Greenberger.

Nursing and housekeeping careers are available. Meet some of our staff members at the fair.

Excellent Benefits

The community offers many benefits such as tuition assistance programs – even for high school students, excellent medical benefits, savings plans, paid CNA training, and if you work in their culinary department, you get free food. And most importantly, the value-centered Quaker roots mean all people are welcome. “During the job fair, we’ll have fun. Play cornhole, enjoy snacks, but attendees can also get a job interview and possibly a job offer, too,” said Quiana Pettiford, Senior Director of Human Resources. “It will be fun, and we look forward to meeting our area community friends.”
