Kendal~Crosslands Communities personal care residency received the highest rating by the readers of the Daily Local News winning “The Best” of Chester County in the recent Readers Choice Award program. “We have two community locations – – Kendal at Longwood and Crosslands”, says Michele Berardi, Director of Community Outreach. “What a way to end the year – – a celebration of staff and residents”, says Berardi. Gatherings took place at both the Kendal at Longwood
and the Crosslands campus location where staff celebrated the award enjoying cake, music, fellowship, and by signing the “The Best” banner which will be hung at the community. “It’s nice to be recognized externally and we are honored”, says Phil DeBaun, Chief Executive Officer of Kendal~Crosslands Communities. “One of the reasons for this award is the way that residents and staff build relationships and work together to create the community”, says DeBaun. “We demonstrate our values and practices statement that our community is not only a great place to live but a great place to work”, says Donna Taylor, Chief Health Officer.
