As a continuing care retirement community, wellness and health care are both important aspects of the services we provide to residents. As a result, there are a variety of career opportunities. We have nursing opportunities to care for our residents in both our personal care and skilled nursing care facilities, located on our Kendal at Longwood and Crosslands campuses. We also need staff members to help in our gyms, aquatic programs, physical and occupational therapy, and care at home programs!
Health Care Positions
We regularly need the help of Certified Nurse Assistants (CNAs), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Registered Nurses (RNs), and Nurse Practitioners (NPs). We even have doctors who provide clinical office hours on each of our campuses. Our nursing staff gets to know and care for our residents over a long period of time, providing an opportunity to build caring relationships that benefit both our staff and residents alike. Our mission, to transform the experience of aging for each of our residents, depends on our nursing staff to help our residents as they age, and accommodate their needs as they change over time.
Because Kendal~Crosslands Communities is a Life Plan Community, residents are provided with various levels of assistance and care as they age. We have both Personal Care (sometimes referred to in other states as Assisted Living) and Skilled Nursing facilities as well as health care clinics, Wellness, and Physical and Occupational Therapy. Whether you would like to start a career in the health care field or would prefer to work in a field that is rewarding with meaningful relationships, we welcome you to apply. Both full and part-time positions are available.
